CDCT Dressage in Wine Country I and II are our one-day back to back USEF/USDF Recognized Dressage Shows. Each day is considered a unique show and is pinned individually. Historically, we hire two "S" judges and an attempt is made to swap what levels each judge scores from Saturday to Sunday, allowing competitors to earn multiple scores towards awards over the two days of competition.

In addition to having prestigious judges, CDCT Dressage in Wine Country is unique because of our infamous Special Awards. Each award is designed by a donor and comes with a fun ribbon and a curated basket of goodies. Past awards have included breed awards, Jr/AA awards, Best Turned Out Horse, Fifty Shades of Bay, High Score Home Bred, and even The Ride From Hell! Special Awards are presented on Saturday following the conclusion of the show during our Wine and Cheese Gala.

 

We have Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) awards again in 2026. CDCT Dressage in Wine Country I & II is also a Partner Show for the National Dressage Pony Cup program with Pony Cup Champion and Reserve ribbons, as well as individual placing ribbons sponsored by Carol Morris. Small Horse Champion and Reserve ribbons sponsored by Tracy Durham.
